01Kitchens
The kitchen is where the tolerances matter most, because it is the surface people touch every day and the one guests lean on. We handle perimeter runs, islands, peninsulas, waterfall ends and full-height backsplashes as a single piece of work.
Templating is digital. That means the shape we cut accounts for the wall that bows out by six millimetres near the fridge, rather than pretending your kitchen is a rectangle.
Seam placement gets discussed before anything is cut. On a long run there has to be a joint somewhere, and there is usually a spot where it disappears. We would rather agree on that with you than surprise you on installation day.
02Bathrooms
A vanity top is small enough that people sometimes buy whatever the big box store has in stock, then live with a two-inch overhang on one side. Cutting to the actual cabinet costs very little more and looks like it belongs there.
We build single and double vanities with undermount basins, vessel cutouts or integrated bowls, and we drill the faucet holes to match the fixture you have actually bought rather than a standard spread.
Bathrooms are also where marble earns its place. There is no tomato sauce in a powder room, so the material that would worry us in a kitchen is a straightforward yes here.
03Entertaining
Bar tops take abuse from a direction kitchens do not: people lean on the overhang, put their weight on the outside edge, and drag stools against it. That means support matters more than looks at the framing stage.
Anything past about 250 millimetres of unsupported overhang wants steel or a corbel underneath, and we will tell you that before the cabinet maker closes up the box rather than after.
Waterfall returns are a common ask here. Done properly the veining continues down the leg, which requires cutting both pieces from the same slab and mitring the corner so the pattern lines up across the joint.
04Feature surfaces
Large-format porcelain and marble turn a fireplace into the thing the room is arranged around. A single sheet can run floor to ceiling with the veining uninterrupted, which is something tile cannot do at any price.
Corners are mitred so the pattern wraps rather than stopping at a visible edge. On a book-matched pair the veining mirrors across the centre line, which needs both pieces cut from sequential slabs and planned before anything hits the saw.
The same approach works for shower walls, wine room cladding and accent walls behind a bed or a reception desk.

Before you call
Four pieces of information get you a real number instead of a range.
01
Length and depth of every run, including the island. A cabinet supplier's elevation drawing is ideal. A phone photo with a tape measure laid across the counter also works and is faster than you think.

Even a rough preference changes the number meaningfully. If you are undecided, tell us the look you are after and the budget you have in mind and we will suggest two or three slabs to come look at.

How many sinks, whether the cooktop drops in, how many faucet and soap dispenser holes. Each cutout is machining time, so counting them properly at quote stage avoids a revision later.
04
Which edge profile, and whether you want a four-inch splash, a full-height backsplash in the same material, or tile. These sit at the end of the process but they belong in the quote at the beginning.
